NFL insider Mike Florio was not a fan of how long it took Rodgers to make a decision. Florio took a shot at the veteran quarterback's appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast in May, saying Rodgers wasted everyone's time by not providing a clear answer on his plans.

"He recently told Joe Rogan in a 184-minute podcast about nothing," Florio said on Friday's episode of "Pardon My Take".

"I watched those three f**king hours and I don't know what I heard. I think my ears were bleeding by the time it was over. But anyway, he mentioned he's got people close to him who are fighting cancer. If that's the reason, that's fine. But you can let the world know I intend to play for the Steelers."

Steelers insider is not happy with Aaron Rodgers joining Pittsburgh

After months of back-and-forth between Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the quarterback signed a one-year deal with the franchise on Thursday. While many Steelers fans are happy to have the four-time NFL MVP on the roster, Steelers insider Mike DeFabo isn't.

The analyst said that Pittsburgh was once again betting on an old horse instead of developing young talent.

"The Steelers promised they wouldn't do the same thing and expect different results. But here they are, for the third time, betting on the NFL's highest paid defense to prop up an aging QB. We've seen this movie before with Big Ben & Russell Wilson," DeFabo tweeted on Thursday.

Rodgers will turn 42 in December. It will be interesting to see how far he can take the Steelers next season.
