The New York Giants stand right behind the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East with a 6-1 record. Despite struggles at the wide receiver position, they have only lost one game this season to the Cowboys and have been serious contenders.

Sterling Shepard, a wide receiver, has been ruled out with a season-ending injury, while Kadarius Toney hasn't played since mid-September. Kenny Golladay, the team's wide receiver, has been out for many weeks.

#3 DT Matt Ioannidis, Carolina Panthers

The New York Giants have one of the best defenses in the league, but injuries have become a concern for the team. The Giants have some of the biggest names, like right defensive end Leonard Williams, left defensive end Azeez Ojulari, and nose tackle Dexter Lawrence, who gave ground-breaking performances last season. Ojulari is placed on injured reserve, and Williams is questionable for the next few weeks.

The New York Giants could add a defensive player to their roster, and acquiring Panthers defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis will only do them justice. Ioannidis signed a one-year deal with the Panthers this offseason. So far, he has played six games for them and has recorded 15 total tackles, two tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, and one sack in six games.

The New York Giants can benefit from this short-term deal as Loannidis will bring expertise and flexibility to the team that the Giants need the most right now.

#2 CB Bryce Hall, New York Jets

New York Jets cornerback Bryce Hall will be available for a trade before the deadline. Hall's position on the Jets has already been reduced with the additions of DJ Reed and Sauce Gardener. His snaps have been reduced, and the Jets won't mind trading him as they have enough talent on their side for this position.

But the Giants can use him to fill the gap in their defensive line caused due to injuries. In 2021, Hall ended the season with 79 tackles and 16 passes, defended in 17 games while playing for the Jets. Hall hasn't had enough opportunities this season and has only played one game for the Jets.

Hall is a loaded talent and deserves to be on the team that plays him often. Overall, the Giants should make a trade deal with the Jets and acquire him for their own good.

# 1 WR Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have already started receiving calls to trade Jerry Jeudy, and if that is the case, the Giants should acquire him before any other team. The Giants need a wide receiver to help them make it to the playoffs without any hurdles.

Jeudy signed a four-year rookie contract with the Broncos and has one year remaining on his agreement. The New York Giants are one of the probable NFL teams prepared to give him the starting wide receiver role. If they want to buy him, Jeudy will have to activate his fifth-year option, which will keep him under contract until 2024.

Jeudy played only 10 games last season as he suffered an ankle injury in the Week 1 game against the New York Giants. Last year, he had 38 receptions for 467 yards and did not score a touchdown. Jeudy needs a team that can enhance his performance this season. Paring Jeudy with Giants quarterback Daniel Jones can also benefit him and the team.
