Jared Goff has done it again. In Sunday's game at the Dallas Cowboys, the Detroit Lions quarterback was part of another trick play.
This time, it was a flea flicker. He pitched the ball to running back David Montgomery, who pitched it to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who pitched it back to Goff, who heaved it to tight end Sam LaPorta, who scored a touchdown:

There was much praise from the fandom:

"Lions trick plays bag is 🔥🔥," one said.
"Why did I bench LaPorta this week!" another rued.
"Shoutout to the Linemen for making this play possible," another saluted.
As of this writing, the Lions are up 40-9 on the Cowboys.
Jared Goff, HC Dan Campbell did not know QB made history vs. Seahawks
As said before, this is not Jared Goff's first time doing a trick play. Almost two weeks ago, during the Lions' defeat of the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, he broke free from the usual formation and caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The highlight was part of a historic night that saw him complete all 18 of his pass attempts - an NFL record. But at least two people were unaware that it was happening.
One of them was coach Dan Campbell, who said:
"I just gave the game ball to somebody else. So, I feel awful right now. I knew he played a heck of a game - I did not realize he was perfect. I did not know he was literally 18 for 18."
The other was, surprisingly enough, Jared Goff himself. During the postgame interview, he said:
"I was? There you go. It’s good. When the ball doesn’t hit the ground, it was a good day."
When asked whether he had thrown an incompletion, he said:
"I wasn’t sure. I was trying to remember if I had an incompletion but I couldn’t quite tell. I knew I had a chance."
He did technically throw an incompletion. With under six minutes left in the fourth, he just failed to find Sam LaPorta in the endzone. However, Brock Wright was called for offensive pass interference, nullifying the play.
