Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady has been retired from the NFL for over a year, and last season he enjoyed retirement. The 46-year-old came back for the 2022–2023 season after initially retiring that off-season.

On Thursday, a video of Brady working out and running went viral on social media. In the video, it shows Brady sprinting, with the caption:

"@nobull. no excuses. Show up for yourself so you can show up all damn day!"

Upon seeing his recent video on social media, NFL fans got hyped about the possibility of Brady making another return. Multiple quarterback-needy teams' fans responded in the comments, with hopes that Brady could sign with their teams and make a run this season.

"He might come back and take Niners to the promise land," said one fan.
"hes such a raider," another fan said.

On the other hand, other fans thought the opposite.

Some believe Brady's time is over. While he still put up amazing numbers, throwing for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns and completing 66.8 percent of passes in the 2022 season, some fans believe this whole narrative of Brady returning needs to take a backseat.

Here's how some other fans responded to his workout video:

"He had the opportunity to win a Super Bowl with the 9ers last season and he chose to stay home. He’s 100% done," a fan wrote.
"Please stop. Nobody wants him back," another fan wrote.

Tom Brady retired last season, but that doesn't count him out about a possible return to the NFL.

It's no surprise to see Brady flirt with the idea of making a return to the field. Last week, making an appearance on VicBlend's podcast, Brady was asked if he would pick up the phone if a team called out about a potential return.

His response seems like he's open to the idea of returning:

"I'm not opposed to it. I don't know if they are going to let me if I become and owner of an NFL team. I'm always going to be in good shape. I'll always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit, like MJ coming back, I don't know if they would let me. But I wouldn't be opposed to it."

There are a few hurdles that need to happen first if Tom Brady decides to return.

First, he has to get out of his 10-year Fox deal that he signed for $375 million to become a color commentator. He is set to make his debut in the booth this Fall.

Another tough hurdle he has to get over is getting the approval of NFL owners to allow him to play since he became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders this off-season.
