Indianapolis Colts team owner Jim Irsay is calling for a change in the National Football League (NFL). The longtime owner wants instant replays on all calls in the final two minutes of a game. The Indianapolis Colts lost Sunday's matchup to the Cleveland Browns after a few questionable calls by the officiating crew.
Since then, the NFL officials have been under scrutiny for calls, especially those that end up deciding a game. Irsay clearly wants to spearhead a change this offseason when the NFL owners meet.

NFL fans on social media, who are sometimes critical of Irsay and his ideas, have shown support. Fans gave Irsay credit for always supporting his team whether or not his actions are extreme or not. Many fans also believe that Jim Irsay will get a rule change passed in the NFL.

Jim Irsay says NFL admitted to making incorrect calls vs. Browns
Jim Irsay isn't one to shy away from using his social media platform to report on the Indianapolis Colts. This week, the Colts owner shared an update on rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson's shoulder injury. He disclosed that the quarterback underwent successful shoulder surgery and is on the road to recovery.
In the next part of the post, he went on to divulge information he alleges he received from the NFL. Irsay stated the NFL admitted the officials in Sunday's game made the wrong calls. One of them was a pass interference call which many considered an 'uncatchable pass'.
"The NFL admits and understands that they did not make the correct calls at end of Sunday’s Colts/Browns Game. I believe we need to institute Instant Replay for all calls, including Penalties, in the last two minutes of All Games."
NFL officials aren't allowed to disclose what is discussed during weekly meetings. It would bring into question who gave the Indianapolis Colts owner the information.
Whether the NFL admitted the officials were wrong or not won't change the outcome of the game. Hence the reason, Irsay is looking to create his own change by implementing rules for instant replay.
