Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is back at his home in Buffalo and was expected to be in attendance for the game against the Miami Dolphins.

Unfortunately, Hamlin won't be present at Orchard Park for the AFC Wildcard Game, as he needs to be at home due to health concerns. While Bills fans would have loved to see Hamlin at the stadium, they know his health is the utmost priority.

Here's what Ian Rapoport said about Hamlin's health:

"Damar Hamlin is still on oxygen and being monitored closely by doctors. Amazing that he was at the #Bills facility yesterday, but it’s a long process to be all the way back."

Prior to the game against the Miami Dolphins, Hamlin tweeted out this:

"My heart is with my guys as they compete today!, Supporting from home as I focus on my recovery. Nothing I want more than to be out there with them! LFG"

Damar Hamlin made a remarkable recovery after he collapsed on the field against the Cincinnati Bengals. CPR was administered and he was later admitted to the hospital in Cincinnati for a good amount of him.

Buffalo Bills players will be playing with extra motivation and you can expect them to be at their best in the Wild Card game against the Miami Dolphins. Since the game between the Bengals and the Bills was suspended after Hamlin's collapse, Buffalo had to settle with the second seed in the NFC.

Nevertheless, the Bills still have an advantage against the Dolphins as Tua Tagovailoa isn't playing for them. The Bills are favored by -13.5 points.

While it is still a longshot, Hamlin could be in attendance next week if the Bills are able to defeat the Dolphins today. The Bills (if they win) will face the winner of the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals next week at Orchard Park.

Hamlin is still under the supervision of medical professionals and would only be present at the stadium if he is allowed to. So far, the Bills' safety has been moving at a rapid pace on his road to recovery and hopefully, he will be fully healthy soon.

As for the Bills, they are playing with a chip on their shoulder and the whole city of Buffalo behind them. Last season, they lost to the Chiefs in a heartbreaking manner and wouldn't want to be on the same side again this season.
