As the New York Jets hope to acquire Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers this off-season, they will be present for free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s workout, per Josina Anderson.

The free agent wideout, who missed all of last season due to recovering from his ACL tear last February, is having a workout today in Arizona in front of several teams. He's looking to return to the NFL this season as he's healthier and ready to take the field after his surgery.

As mentioned above, the Jets are one of several teams in attendance for his workout. The team has been creating cap space this past week, making room for Rodgers and potentially another playmaker like OBJ. The team restructured tight end C.J. Uzomah's contract, clearing $3.6 million in 2023. They will be charged $900,000 each season from 2024-2027.

New York will also be cutting wide receiver Braxton Berrios at the start of the league year, which will create $5 million in cap space for the Jets.

The team has also approached wide receiver Corey Davis and defensive end Carl Lawson about contract restructuring to clear up more space.

As Beckham Jr.'s workout is scheduled to begin an hour from now, he was seen on FaceTime with Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner. The Jets seem to be doing their part in recruiting OBJ for the Jets.

The New York Jets could easily become Super Bowl contenders if they are able to acquire both Rodgers and Beckham Jr.

They finished the last season 10-7 after losing their final six games. Acquiring two playmakers for their much-needed offense would propel them to the next level.

The AFC East is one of the best divisions in football, and adding Rodgers and Beckham would give them veteran leadership with two guys who have won a Super Bowl.

Odell Beckham Jr. missed the entire 2022-2023 season. He tore his ACL in Super Bowl LVI and recovered all of last season.

There was chatter about him joining the Cowboys, Bills, Giants, and Chiefs towards the end of last season, but he still wasn't healthy enough to take the field.

Today, he is having a workout held in front of many NFL teams in Arizona. He'll be a high-risk, high-reward free agent, as he's been one of the most productive receivers on the field when healthy, but he's suffered two torn ACLs in his career and is only getting older.
