JJ Watt has amassed quite a few fans over his illustrious career. Not only has he been one of the most dominant forces on the defensive line for the last decade, he's also been an incredible presence in his community.

He routinely gives to charity and has been a big donor to hurricane relief and other important causes. Whether it's for on- or off-field work, Watt has tons of fans and those fans send him fan mail.

Ahead of his final ever regular season game, Watt received what he called one of the wildest fan mail he's ever received.

NFL fans are in love with this random badger sent to Watt immediately. Many of them are insisting that the retiring defensive end keep and even name the random mail item.

Watt played at the University of Wisconsin, whose mascot is a badger, so the gift is entirely fitting. Still, it is rather strange for an NFL star and future Hall of Famer to receive a taxidermied badger in the mail.

In 12 years in the NFL, Watt may not have received as random a gift as this.

JJ Watt is about to embark on his final ever NFL game

Should the NFL proceed with Week 18 as scheduled in the wake of the Damar Hamlin injury, this will be JJ Watt's final game as an NFL player.

Following the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16, Watt sneakily announced his retirement:

"Koa’s first ever NFL game. My last ever NFL home game. My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure."

His newborn son was in attendance, a person who may have been a driving factor in Watt's decision to retire after 12 years in the league. He has been an absolute terror to opposing quarterbacks and offensive lines for those 12 years.

Thanks to his on-field performance, he's a surefire Hall of Famer down the road. Thanks to his off-field giving, he's earned a ton of fans, one of which sent him a stuffed badger to celebrate his iconic career.
