"No one in the NFC wants to see this team" - Dan Orlovsky claims Aaron Rodgers and Packers most dangerous team in the playoffs

Dan Orlovsky claimed that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are the team to avoid in the playoffs. After their 41-17 rout of the NFC North top seed Minnesota Vikings, he claimed that they are the team that everyone wants to avoid. He pointed out that, over the last four games, they have been playing well on defense and rushing offense and Aaron Rodgers looks to be coming back into form. He claimed:

"No one in the NFC wants to see this team in the playoffs. If they can somehow beat a Lions team that is a very good football team, you think Detroit or Dallas wants to see this team? You think the Eagles, who can't cover the middle of the field right now in defense wants to see this football team with a quarterback that's been there and done that in an offensive line that's starting to play better? Absolutely not."

His co-panelists were also of a similar opinion but were willing to give more credit to the offense and the run game than Aaron Rodgers. Dan Orlovsky, however, contended that this year he is more of a CEO for the team and his job is to manage the offense better than pad up his own stats like he has done the last two seasons. Orlovsky said:

"The reason why they're asking him to play that way is because of those back-to-back MVP seasons when they were the one seed and he threw for like 95 touchdowns. They were home. Now that wasn't the way that they were going to win playoff games."

Dan Orlovsky also added that they had seen how the lack of a running game had held them back in their last two losses in the playoffs, where they had to depend too much on Rodgers' arm. He also believes that the Green Bay quarterback has accepted that role. He said:

"This was a football team that was the number one seed in the playoffs and then those playoff losses they've gotten out rushed by like 600 yards. So what was best for the football team was different than what was best for Aaron Rodgers' individual statistics."

Dan Orlovsky acknowledges that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers need to overcome a very good Detroit Lions team to get there

But before we can start talking about the playoffs, the Green Bay Packers need to overcome the Detroit Lions in their final game. The Lions had a blowout of their own as they demolished the Chicago Bears 41-10. The worry for them is their defense, which is ranked toward the bottom of the league and if they can stop the Packers' offense.

Dan Orlovsky himself acknowledged the same but opined that, if the Packers can get over the hump, they will be in better shape in the playoffs than they have been in the last couple of years.
