“I don’t know why they think I’m an expert,” O.J. Simpson said.

"He was just trying to relate to one or two of those jurors that he was a good old boy. He was one of them. And I'm not sure he didn't succeed in doing that. If the verdict comes back tomorrow, he's going to be guilty.
However, OJ added that if the verdict came after a week, there could be some disagreement with it. Of course, the verdict has finally sentenced Alex Murdaugh to prison.
Users did not hold back, letting Simpson know that it takes one murderer to know another.
Why was O.J Simpson asked about Alex Murdaugh's trial?
Considering Murdough was accused of a double murder, people were bringing up Simpson's own case. His case dates back to 1994, when Simpson was blamed for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.
However, a recent book suggests that Simpson was possibly framed, and Brown's parents and siblings were behind the whole thing. The book, The Sealed Envelope: Who Framed OJ Simpson for Their Murders, How They Did It and Why They Got Away With It, by Sheryll and Shatelaine Shipley brought to light a completely different perspective on the matter.
Apparently, the family wanted to keep Simpson's house, and the murder trial would let them do so.
That being said, unlike Alex Murdaugh, Simpson's trial ended in with him emerging as not guilty.
