Aaron Rodgers' 9/11 question to Deshone Kizer has NFL fans stumped

Back in 2018, Deshone Kizer played one season as Aaron Rodgers' backup QB with the Green Bay Packers. However, as the 2022 season continues, Kizer has dropped some shocking facts about his first conversation with the Packers star.

Kizer, in conversation with Adam Breneman, recalled their entire conversation. Apparently, the celebrated Packers quarterback harbors some doubts about the 9/11 terrorist attacks and is inclined towards some conspiracy theories.

At least, that is the impression one gets from the questions that Kizer says Rodgers asked him on the subject.

Rodgers, who rarely shies away from speaking his mind, is yet to make a comment on what Kizer said.

Fans, of course, have come forward with their own reactions. After all, not many expect such statements to be made and shared publicly.

Most fans were referring to Rodgers as 'crazy'' or 'insane', wondering what prompted him to ask the question. Others just compared him to celebrities like NBA player Kyrie Irving or Elon Musk.

Mostly, however, people remained confused about Aaron Rodgers' question and why he would even ask that during a first meeting. A few seemed invested in the story, wondering exactly what Kizer found out in the end.

Rodgers has also called out the COVID-19 vaccines, saying that he is against them. While he claimed he was immunized during the 2021 season, he didn't reveal the fact that he hasn't taken the vaccine. The situation did indeed create controversy, with many giving their views on the same.

What exactly did Aaron Rodgers tell Deshone Kizer?

During the interview, Kizer shed light on some of the shocking things he heard Aaron Rodgers say. Not only did the 38-year-old ask Kizer if he believed in 9/11, but also asked the latter to look it up.

"He shut the door, and the first thing that came out of Aaron Rodgers' mouth was 'Do you believe in 9/11?' What, do I believe in 9/11? Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
"He was like, 'You should read up on that', and then we just start learning up about the playbook, and I was like 'Wow, I don't know where this is going'. What it ended up being was a thought experiment where he wanted me to go back and look into some of the conspiracies around it. We really bonded over that and started sharing some books, and we started talking about some other things. Some history, some business, some finance."

Kizer played with the Packers for one season before moving to the Las Vegas Raiders. His experience with Rodgers was certainly memorable, even though it wasn't strictly about sports.
