With a win over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, Patrick Mahomes proved once and for all that he is the best quarterback in the game. Despite playing on one leg due to a high ankle sprain, Mahomes inspired his team to a huge win against a very good team.
It was a crowning moment for the Chiefs' quarterback, as he got his respect back from everyone associated with the sport. Emmanuel Acho, the former Eagles linebacker who picked the Bengals over the Chiefs, also lauded Mahomes for what he did on Sunday.
Acho even compared Mahomes to athletes like LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Derek Jeter. Here's what he said about Mahomes' after the monumental win against the Cincinnati Bengals:

All the other athletes mentioned were the faces of their respective leagues for the majority of their careers. Similarly, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is currently the face of the league and will be for the foreseeable future.
The Chiefs' No. 15 has altered how quarterbacks play the game, and perhaps he will be able to stack his resume among the other all-time great athletes to whom he is being compared.
Patrick Mahomes needs to win the Super Bowl
