Ryan Clark claims Patrick Mahomes vs Josh Allen rivalry has one fatal flaw unlike Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning

Capital One's The Match VI - Brady & Rodgers v Allen & Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. This is among the biggest games of the regular season for both teams. The Chiefs got the better of the Bills in last season's divisional round game, and this year Buffalo will be out for revenge in the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are arguably the best two quarterbacks in the league. As a result, their rivalry is often compared to the rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Former NFL player Ryan Clark doesn't like the friendship between Mahomes and Allen. He believes the rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills quarterback isn't as fierce as the rivalry between Brady and Manning. Here's what Ryan Clark said on ESPN's NFL Live:

"I don't like the fact that Josh and Patrick Mahomes like each other so much. I want that same thing of our new Tom Brady and Peyton Manning right there. They're our new ones. Do you remember how hard it was for those two dudes to complement each other? I don't like this new-age friendship we have with these two young gunners, who are sure to put up a ton of points this weekend."

Both Mahomes and Allen have the utmost respect for each other and are always quick with compliments. Sunday's game could prove to be vital for the AFC's first overall seed and also for the exciting MVP race.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are the underdogs at home for the first time ever

For the first time ever in his NFL career, Patrick Mahomes will be leading the Chiefs as an underdog at home. The Buffalo Bills are currently a -2.5 favorite against the Chiefs heading into Week 6. This shows how highly the Bills are rated this season.

It will be interesting to see how the Chiefs matchup against the current Super Bowl favorites. Particularly as they have always got the better of them when it matters the most. Allen will be extremely motivated to win this time around as last season in the playoffs he suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss. This will be a must-watch in Kansas City.
