Lamar Jackson made it clear that he is not going to put up with all the criticisms he and his team have been receiving. Despite being hailed by analysts, the Baltimore Ravens just can't seem to impress a part of its demanding fanbase.
The latest victim of these attacks was Mark Andrews, who was targeted only once against the Buffalo Bills but missed the catch. Even though the Ravens won 35-10, fans were unforgiving.
A fan commented that after his performance, Andrews should be released from the team. Lamar Jackson replied to the fan, saying:
"@fylsean please STFU💯"
His fantasy outlook has slipped down to a 6-65-0 receiving line through the four weeks that the season has been in full swing. Fantasy managers are hopeful in the team's next outing against the Cincinnati Bengals that Andrews will bounce back.
Lamar Jackson hits back at fantasy manager
Lamar Jackson is not really one to take comments about him or his team on social media to heart or even take the time to reply to them. But of late, he has been hitting back at fans.
After X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with fantasy managers calling him out for not meeting certain expectations, Jackson hit back at them:
"This is a “TEAM” sport I’m not out here satisfied when I threw for 300yds but took a L. If I throw for 50 yds and we WIN, that’s wtf matters. Yall stop commenting on our socials about the yds yall fan duel or parlays ain’t hit."
For Jackson, it's always the team above making personal records. That does not mean he won't hold himself accountable for personal faults. While speaking to the media after the Bills game, he apologized for getting sacked.
"I believe if we had one sack tonight, I believe that was my fault. I believe I should have got out of that but the offensive line did a great job."
The 2-2 Ravens are up against the 1-3 Bengals next. Will Lamar Jackson triumph over the Bengals?
