Rich Eisen hints Tom Brady may be turning against Todd Bowles

Tom Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and has had an interesting ride with the team. He was coached under Bruce Arians for the first two seasons. Arians decided to step down as head coach before the start of the 2022 season, and defensive coordinator Todd Bowles was named head coach.

They are still in first place in their weak division, but only by half a game.

Analyst Rich Eisen thinks Tom Brady could be turning against Bowles following their overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns last week.

Eisen said:

"It was the first loss in his career in which he led by seven with two minutes and change to go. He's never had a loss like the one that he and the Bucs just suffered in Cleveland, Ohio."

"It's just sometimes you feel like the next risk [Todd Bowles] takes is going to be his first. And you got Tom Brady. Like, what? What are you doing? And I'm wondering what Brady's thinking of all that."

Although they have a lousy record, they still sit in first place in their division. Despite the Atlanta Falcons sitting half a game behind them in the division with a 5-7 record, their performances leave a lot to be desired.

The divisional winner for the NFC South this year might not have a winning record. Considering the Panthers (4-8) and New Orleans Saints' (4-8) subpar firepower, they're unlikely to compete for the top seed.

Only two of the teams in the six games left for the Bucs have a winning record - the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers. With such a lousy remaining schedule, Tampa Bay got a chance to finish with a stellar record.
