Rihanna put on a show to remember for NFL fans around the world when she took to the stage for Super Bowl LVII's halftime show. The Grammy-winning pop star performed "Umbrella," "Rude Boy," "Diamonds," "Work Work Work," "We Found Love" and many more of her top hits.

The show marked her first live performance in seven years. Rihanna's most recent live televised performance took place in 2018 at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in New York City. Thus, it was obviously a big decision to make for the Queen of Pop.

Speaking to Michael Strahan before the event, the pop star delved deeper into her psyche and how she herself was caught in two minds over whether to perform.

"Did I say yes? Am I really doing this? This is probably one of the craziest decisions I've ever made. I have not been on tour for seven years. So to go from that to Super Bowl, it was one of those things that I knew would be a challenge. And that's what enticed me."

The singer, though, explained that she wanted to take on the challenge head-on to experience the thrill of it:=.

"I have not been able to do that [overcoming the thought of over 100 million people watching her perform]. But really, my gut is what led me through this. You're gonna be able to feel the energy of that entire stadium. The rumblings are gonna be there the entire time. It's exciting. It's exhilarating. It's the Super Bowl."

Apart from her tantalizing performance, the Barbadian singer also had fans chirping over another huge surprise.
