Super Bowl LVII was amazing and legendary for all possible reasons. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles played a fantastic game that ended with a 38-35 win for the Chiefs, but it also represented Rihanna's comeback to the stage after a seven-year hiatus.

Rihanna's performance was one of a kind. She has performed many of her hits from different albums and times. Fans were treated to live renditions of great songs such as All of the Lights, Umbrella, Work, and Pour It Up, among many others.

But the most special part of her performance was literally the beginning. She was supposed to bring her own special guest to the show, and everybody thought there would be a guest singer, as she said in an interview before the show, "Well, I might. Let's see"

Her special guest? A baby. She announced her second pregnancy at the halftime show.

The legendary performance is close to reaching a great milestone on YouTube. 20 days after the halftime show, the official video from the NFL channel is set to reach 100 million views soon.

Why did Rihanna feature on the Super Bowl LVII halftime show?

After previously declining to make an appearance due to the league's stance on Colin Kaepernick's protests, she decided that the Super Bowl was the perfect opportunity to break her seven-year hiatus from live performances and get back to the spotlight.

Speaking to Michael Strahan during Super Bowl week, Rihanna gave her reasons as to why returning to one of the biggest stages in the world felt like the perfect opportunity:

"Did I say yes? Am I really doing this? This is probably one of the craziest decisions I've ever made. I have not been on tour for seven years. So to go from that to Super Bowl, it was one of those things that I knew would be a challenge. And that's what enticed me."

She added:

"I have not been able to do that [overcoming the thought of over 100 million people watching her perform]. But really, my gut is what led me through this. You're gonna be able to feel the energy of that entire stadium. The rumblings are gonna be there the entire time. It's exciting. It's exhilarating. It's the Super Bowl."
