Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers notched a massive win over the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day. They earned a close 26-20 victory, intercepting Tua Tagovailoa three times and keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Thanks to a few other results, they now have a significantly more realistic chance of sneaking in than they did even a week ago. Their path is murky, but it is there and theoretically, anything can happen in the playoffs.

ESPN analyst Ryan Clark isn't buying that, though. He doesn't think the Packers will make any noise, nor do they even mildly concern any other NFC playoff team.

He said on ESPN:

"I said it was absurd that this team could get into the playoffs and I was wrong. Now, you look at them having games against two division rivals, two divisional opponents that are very beatable opponents for the Green Bay Packers."

However, he also said that it doesn't matter much:

"If the Green Bay Packers get into the playoffs, does anybody care? Absolutely not. This is not a team that is playing offense at a high enough level to compete with the Philadelphia Eagles, to compete with a team like the San Francisco 49ers."

He continued:

"Even though we believe so much in what Aaron Rodgers has been historically, he is not that this year. This defense that was supposed to be dominant, which should have been dominant based on their roster the entire year hasn't been that."

Rodgers has been superhuman before, but he hasn't shown anything to suggest he could be again this year.

Has Aaron Rodgers ever missed the playoffs?

In his now 18-year career, Aaron Rodgers has always been a stud. He's long been one of the best in the league and his teams usually reflect that. His career record as a starter is 146-74-1.

However, he hasn't made the playoffs every single season and that might be added on to this year.

Rodgers and the Packers missed the playoffs in 2018, 2017, 2008, 2006 and 2005, Rodgers' rookie year. Might 2022 be an entry on this list? If they can't get a little help along the way in these final two weeks, it will be.
