"She’s very sick" - Patrick Mahomes' mother Randi shares concerning update about grandma Debbie

Patrick Mahomes' family has been a huge part of his NFL success. Supporting him along the way, his family rarely misses an important game. Super Bowl or not, they have rarely stopped cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs star QB.

In a recent tweet, Mahomes' mother Randi revealed a concerning update about the QB's grandmother Debbie. As per Randi Mahomes, her mother is currently in the hospital.

Of course, she asked her followers to send out prayers for her mother.

"Prayers for my mom," Randi wrote. "She's very sick and at the hospital".

Everyone replied with postive messages and prayers, hoping for Mahomes' grandmother to get well soon.

Randi Mahomes, 47, has continued to share snippets of her family online, which includes her mother Debbie and her three children, Patrick, Jackson and Mia. There have also been photos of her grandchildren, who are slowly growing up.

She even participated in the Mother Challenge last year, sharing a photo of Debbie asking others to join the challenge. She wrote:

"Just one photo of your Mom. Not a collage or video. The goal is to flood FB with positive photos"

As of now, there is no known public social media account run by Patrick Mahomes' grandmother.

What happened to Patrick Mahomes' grandma Debbie?

Despite Randi's update, she refrained from sharing details about Mahomes' grandma's hospitalization. However, considering her tweet, it could be slightly more serious in nature.

Earlier in January, Grandma was seen enjoying herself with Randi and Patrick Mahomes while with their family, chugging a beer after a bet. As per Randi, she agreed to chug a Coors if the Chiefs player and her grandson returned to the Super Bowl.

Not only did Patrick play in another Super Bowl, but also won his second ring by beating the Philadelphia Eagles. She said:

"I won the bet!! She drank it!! Winning!! Now i need help with this grandma she’s gets to hang with me in Arizona!!! Help!! Lol".

The video shared by Randi Mahomes looked like a family get together while grandma Debbie was the center of attraction. The camera pans to Patrick momentarily, who is cheering on from the couch.

That being said, Mahomes or his wife Brittany are yet to make a comment on his grandmother's health.
