The wide receiver position isn't as important as a quarterback or running backs in fantasy pool but it's still crucial to fantasy managers' success. Tank Dell and Keenan Allen are two depth options for fantasy managers and will be popular options in Week 9.
With another big fantasy matchup ahead, which wide receiver is the better option?

With Stefon Diggs out for the season, and Nico Collins also injured, Dell is now the No. 1 option for the Texans.
“I know how it feels to go out and want something so bad and get it taken from you," Dell said about Diggs' injury, via LonestarLive. "His head on straight right now though. He shot me a text message that said he gonna be alright and he want me to go finish the job for him, so that’s my job, that’s what I’m gonna do.”
Dell will get plenty of targets from C.J. Stroud and his work rate should go up with Diggs and Collins out. Last week, Dell was targeted four times and found the endzone once. Those numbers are likely to go up now.
Is Keenan Allen a good fantasy pick?

Keenan Allen is a good fantasy pick in Week 9 as the veteran receiver remains healthy and a reliable option for rookie QB Caleb Williams.
Allen was targeted seven times in the Bears' stunning loss to the Washington Commanders. He is a good endzone target for Chicago as well, as he's a big-body receiver.
However, the Bears do have other options such D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze, which hinders Allen's fantasy outlook.
Tank Dell or Keenan Allen: Who should I start?
Sportskeeda's fantasy start/sit optimizer suggests that fantasy managers should start Dell over Allen.

The tool has Dell recording 13.1 fantasy points as it projects him to have 54.9 receiving yards and 5.7 rushing yards.
Allen, meanwhile, is projected for 54 receiving yards and 12.7 fantasy points in a full PPR league.
Ultimately, with Dell being the Texans' No. 1 receiver, Sportskeeda's fantasy tool recommended him over Allen.
