That was f***ing awesome" - Tom Brady drops f-bomb in post-game press conference after game-winning drive vs. Rams

Tom Brady breathed a sigh of relief as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 16-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

In the process, he reminded all the naysayers that come what may, he still remains the best player in the game in clutch moments.

The last few weeks have been dominated by headlines about him losing his touch on the field as the Buccaneers slipped to a 3-5 record.

Off the field, his divorce with Gisele Bundchen has been the talk of the town.

Under these circumstances, the win over the Super Bowl-or-bust Rams was a different kind of special for Brady.

Doing it the way he did, creating history and leading a clutch drive, made it even more so.

Coming into the press conference, he let out all his bottled-up feelings saying:

"That was awesome. That was f***ing awesome!"

How many passing yards does Tom Brady have?

With this victory, Tom Brady passed a milestone that may never be broken.

He threw for 280 yards in the win and, in the process, became the first quarterback in history to throw for more than 100,000 yards.

That tally includes both the regular season and the postseason. His total is now up to 100,116 yards.

To put that into perspective, that is nearly 15,000 yards more than Drew Brees, so the chasm is only going to grow.

Over the years, his stats have been helped by clutch plays at the right times, which has allowed him to play more postseason games than any other quarterback. He demonstrated one more example of this ability today.

Tom Brady to Cade Otton for the win vs Rams

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were trailing 13-9 with 44 seconds left in the final quarter. They needed a 60-yard drive to make it to the endzone.

They had no timeouts left. Considering they were trailing by more than three points, a touchdown was a necessity and a field goal would not do.

For any other quarterback, that would have been a death sentence. For Tom Brady, this was his calling.

Leading the 55th game-winning drive of his career, another scarcely believable record, he threw to Cade Otton with 9 seconds remaining to put the Buccaneers 15-13 up. The extra-point conversion made the final score 16-13.

Brady might not be playing as well as he has over the past seasons. But he is only failing in comparison to the ridiculous standards he has himself set. If anyone needed a reminder of who the GOAT is, Tom Brady provided it again today.
