Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost Sunday's game to the Pittsburgh Steelers and fell to 3-3 on the season.

Brady missed a few practice sessions this past week due to his attending the New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft's wedding. He also missed a walkthrough.

With the upset loss to the Steelers on Sunday, some people around the league think Brady has commitment issues.

Analyst Colin Cowherd responded to those who are questioning Brady's commitment to the game and defended the seven-time Super-Bowl winning quarterback.

"First of all, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a daiquiri at a whiskey bar my entire life. Silly, uneven, underachieving, rudderless, goofy. Nobody that you really like ever orders a daiquiri. Right. You've never had a friend who loves daiquiris. That's what they are."

Cowherd pointed to the Bucs having offensive line issues, Todd Bowles being in his first year of head coaching, and Brady going through a mid-life crisis as reasons for their struggles.

"Year three. Now he's back to Barking. I'm here for it. I mean, the Steelers didn't have TJ Watt and still were in Brady's grill the entire afternoon. They were getting incredible pressure without Watt and without stunting. And he was upset.
"Well, he was at a wedding. He missed Friday's walk around and Saturday. Really? This is a guy that wrote a book on avocado ice cream, doesn't drink a beer during the season. We're going to question Tom Brady's commitment. The guy is going through a personal crisis."

Cowherd further added:

"He's got a brand new coach. Oh, yeah. That coach was fired his last job. They've had cluster injuries to the offensive line and wide receiver. And we're questioning Tom Brady's commitment in the NFL in the last 20 years?"

Tom Brady and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-3 through six games this season

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-3 through their first six games of the season and are tied for first-place in the NFC South. Last season, they were 5-1 through their first six games and in 2020, they were 4-2.

This is the worst start through six games in Brady's three years in Tampa. In the last two seasons, the team was coached by Bruce Arians. Now, their coach is Todd Bowles as Arians stepped down this season.

The Bucs' next game will be vs. the rebuilding Carolina Panthers and they have to be back in the winning column to build some momentum.
