J.K. Dobbins visited the AFC West team on Thursday, leading to many speculating that he may join the Broncos soon. The former Baltimore Raven posted a video of some of his highlight runs with the LA Chargers last season, and fans shared their reactions on X.

“Time to do that in Blue and Orange,” a fan tweeted.

Denver's top running back last season was Javonte Williams, who had 513 yards on 139 carries with four touchdowns. The team’s struggles running the ball forced Nix to have to go to the air, attempting 567 passes and completing 66.3% of his throws. Williams joined the Dallas Cowboys this offseason.

Dobbins got a lot of love from Charger fans on social media, many of whom want to see him return to LA.

“LA loves JKD,” one fan commented.

“Chargers fans will always love you and have your back,” a fan tweeted.
“Please stay with the Chargers, we love you here,” another fan wrote.

Dobbins is coming off his best NFL season, running for 905 yards and a career-high for rushing touchdowns (nine) and receiving yards (153).

He was on a one-year contract with LA which he signed in April 2024. It's unlikely they bring him back, as the Chargers signed former Pro Bowler Najae Harris. The former Pittsburgh Steeler has produced four 1,000+ yard campaigns on the ground.

No deal in place

While many signs point to J.K. Dobbins joining the Broncos, he has yet to put pen to paper. There may be a reason why that has yet to materialize, as Denver may have other priorities.

The team have yet to sign their first-round draft pick, Jahdae Barron, the cornerback out of Texas it selected at No. 20 in April. The Broncos are also working on signing running back RJ Harvey to a rookie deal, after drafting the UCF product in the second round.

Dobbins is expected to be a significant asset to a team like Denver, which needs a three-down back and experienced locker room presence.
