J'Kaylin Dobbins is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Chargers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens selected him with the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. In the 2021 season, he suffered an ACL injury putting him on the injured reserve for the entire season. The following season, in Week 6, he suffered another knee injury, appearing in seven games only. In Week 1 of the 2023 season, Dobbins scored a touchdown before suffering a season-ending injury.

Dobbins attended La Grange High School. He finished his high school football with 74 touchdowns. Despite suffering an injury in his senior year, Dobbins was rated as one of the top five players of his class. He decided to commit to Ohio State University for collegiate football. According to Sports Reference, he finished his rookie season with 1,403 yards, establishing the freshman rushing record. During the 2018 season, despite finishing the season with 1,053 running yards, he continued to be the team's top rusher.
