Titans' DeAndre Hopkins drops flirty comment on Sydney Sweeney's "thirst trap"

Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney recently shared an Instagram post from her sea trip, and Tennessee Titans star DeAndre Hopkins couldn't help but comment on it. Sweeney's 'thirst trap' pictures got the Titans' wide receiver leaving a flirty comment.

"Trapped," Hopkins wrote.
"I think they call this a thirst trap," Sydney Sweeney captioned her Instagram post.

DeAndre Hopkins is battling a knee injury he suffered during the Titans' practice camp on Aug. 1. According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, he is likely to miss the first four weeks of the regular season.

The 32-year-old wide receiver was the 27th pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

DeAndre Hopkins dedicates his football career to his mom Sabrina Greenlee

DeAndre Hopkins has always been close to his mother, Sabrina Greenlee. In an interview with CBS News in July, he credited his mother for his successful football career.

"My mom put her ego to the side and cared about our feelings and thought about us before herself. It was just having that remembrance of my mom being there to see me play when I was a kid," Hopkins said.

Before her son became famous in the NFL, Greenlee fell victim to an acid attack, which left her blind.

She talked about her journey to recovery in her recently released book.

"I knew that I had to forgive the people who offended me or left me there despite everything that I've been through. I did it for my children because I needed to get back to being a mother. That was very important for me. So I began to humanize her [the acid attacker] by calling out her name. It was tough for me to do that. I began to make her relatable in my mind and not this monster I had created," Greenlee wrote.

In July, Sabrina Greenlee released her book "A Journey of Family, Faith and Forgiveness" written by Tatsha Robertson. Hopkins shared a dedicated X post congratulating his mother on her achievement.

"Congratulations on your book launch Mom! This is my mom’s story of conquering motherhood. From selling drugs just to feed four kids to overcoming depression from being blind. This is more than a book, it’s Us," Hopkins wrote.

Hopkins joined the Tennessee Titans in 2023 and recorded 1,057 receiving yards with seven touchdowns in the regular season. He is currently at the top of the Titans' depth chart for receivers. However, with his injury, the team needs to find a replacement that could fill his shoes.
