Troy Aikman thinks Odell Beckham Jr. will sign with Cowboys

The Odell Beckham Jr.'s sweepstakes have begun. Now that he's healed from his torn ACL injury suffered in the Super Bowl in February, he's expected to sign with a team in the coming days.

OBJ was released by the Cleveland Browns midway through last season before being signed by the Los Angeles Rams. He helped the Rams win the Super Bowl versus the Cincinnati Bengals, but he unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in the game.

He's been recovering from the ACL injury, and he chose not to sign with a team during free agency as he focused on rehab and getting healthier.

While he is expected to join a contender any day, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and legend Troy Aikman believes that Jerry Jones will be able to sign the star receiver.

Aikman said:

“If I was betting, I’d bet virtually everything I have on (Odell Beckham signing w/ Dallas). I’ve never known Jerry to lose a player he’s wanted. I think it’ll definitely happen. …On paper, it makes them a lot better. I think it would be a great move.”

Buffalo Bills v Los Angeles Rams

Odell has finally been cleared to hit the field, and there are a number of teams interested in the star wide receiver.

The Dallas Cowboys are currently the favorites to land him, but it's anyone's guess as to where he lands.

The Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, and the New York Giants are all teams that have a possible chance to land him.

New York Giants head coach Brian Dabboll revealed that he had dinner with Beckham on Thursday night, and that it was a good visit.

Daboll said:

"We had dinner with him last night. We had a good visit. Really, other than that, I have nothing else to add. My focus is on Washington, and any questions on that is really what I've got to say."

In his career, Beckham Jr. has recorded 7,367 receiving yards, 531 receptions and 56 touchdowns, while averaging 13.9 yards per catch. He has been named to three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro selections, and arguably has the greatest catch of all-time in NFL history.

Whatever team OBJ joins will get a boost at the receiver position at a good time -- right before the post-season.
