Tyler Shough’s wife, Jordan Shough, is now among the people who are voicing concern against a burning issue in America.
Immigration raids in Los Angeles have caused major protests and strong reactions across the city. ICE agents arrested several undocumented people, which led to angry crowds blocking roads and clashing with police. Many Californians, including Governor Gavin Newsom, say the federal government went too far and disrespected the state’s rights.
As emotions ran high, public figures started to speak up.

On Saturday, Leticia Estrada Rahme, a well-known Mexican-American journalist and host of the "Say It En Voz Alta" podcast, posted on Instagram about the issue.

New Orleans Saints rookie Tyler Shough's wife, Jordan Shough, shared Leticia’s post to show support on Monday. Along with it, she wrote:
“A lot of people forgetting what is inscribed in the Statue of Liberty:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

The raids were carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and mainly targeted Latino neighborhoods such as Paramount, Huntington Park and Whittier. More than 100 undocumented people were arrested.
Things became even more tense when President Donald Trump sent U.S. Marines to help manage the protests.
Tyler Shough and Jordan have been together for a long time. They married in April 2024 in La Jolla, California.
The couple first met at the University of Oregon, where Tyler Shough's then GF, Jordan, played soccer. They got engaged in May 2022.
Raiders DE Isaach Rochell's wife Allison Kuch has also raised her voice like Tyler Shough's wife
Allison Kuch, wife of former Las Vegas Raiders player Isaach Rochell, joined Jordan Shough and spoke out about the recent immigration raids.
She said that people often judge those with big followings for staying silent about politics. Allison explained that she has always been honest about her views and who she votes for. But now, as a mother, she feels it’s important to speak out about the ICE raids.
Further, Allison said families are being torn apart, and even children are being handcuffed.

According to her, it’s about human rights. She admitted that both political parties have supported deportation through legal steps. But what people are upset about are the harsh and unfair ways the raids are being done.
She added that some people being taken are following the legal process, even going to court when they are picked up. Lastly, before wrapping up, Allison reminded everyone that these are real human beings.
