Currently, en route to the Super Bowl are the Kansas City Chiefs. On February 12 at Glendale, Arizona's State Farm Stadium, Super Bowl LVII will feature a matchup between Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

The Chiefs captured both Super Bowl LIV and Super Bowl IV and participated in the inaugural 1966 Super Bowl game too. They faced the Green Bay Packers but won their first Super Bowl three years later. On January 15, 1967, the Chiefs lost their first Super Bowl badly before a crowd of 61,946 spectators, falling to the Packers 35-10.

In Super Bowl IV in 1970, the franchise earned their first championship. To win their maiden Super Bowl championship, they battled the Minnesota Vikings.

Before the Chiefs returned to the Super Bowl, they had to endure a five-decade wait. In 2020, they eventually competed for another Super Bowl, going up against the San Francisco 49ers. Patrick Mahomes, the event's MVP, guided the Chiefs to victory over the San Francisco 49ers, which was just the Chiefs' second Super Bowl trophy.

The Chiefs then lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-9, at Raymond James Stadium in February 2021, which prevented them from becoming only the ninth different team to win two straight Super Bowls.

Legendary quarterback Tom Brady was vying for his seventh title, while his Chiefs counterpart Patrick Mahomes was vying for his second straight win in that contest between the two quarterbacks of the era. In the end, it was Brady who prevailed.

Can the Chiefs win the Super Bowl in 2023?

According to many, the NFL's best quarterback right now is Patrick Mahomes. As long as he's on the pitch, his team always has a chance of victory, even when he's half-fit, but we anticipate that his ankle injury will be well by next week.

It's reasonable to assume that the Philadelphia Eagles' calendar this campaign has been relatively easy. Nevertheless, you can only face the opponents on your calendar, and the Eagles should be praised for thoroughly dominating several of their opponents.

However, the Chiefs' offensive unit and quarterback are unlike anything the Eagles have encountered all season. That could see the Chiefs emerge victorious and win the Super Bowl for a third time.
