Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has been lauded in recent days for how he handled a difficult situation regarding one of his players, safety Damar Hamlin. The player collapsed on the field and was left needing CPR. He remains in critical condition.
The Bills head coach McDermott decided to stop the game, telling Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor that he needed to be at the hospital for Hamlin. He also sent his players, still shocked by what they'd just seen, back to the locker room.

Story of Jamie and Sean McDermott
Jamie and Sean McDermott have been together ever since they met at La Salle High School in Pennsylvania. They also went through the same college together. The couple currently live at Orchard Park, in New York, with son Gavin and daughters Maddie and Kelly.
They've been together through some tough times. Sean revealed during a 2021 interview that he has undergone treatment for skin cancer several times since 2017.
Before taking the head coach job with the Buffalo Bills, Sean McDermott was the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. He also spent almost 10 years in different positions with the Philadelphia Eagles.
While Jamie is not present on social media, she's very active in the community, participating in many charity events and working with non-profit foundations. As McDermott's popularity with Buffalo fans grows by the day, his wife also gets recognized for her work within the community.
