Why is Joe Burrow not in the Pro Bowl?

Cincinnati Bengals v New Orleans Saints
Joe Burrow #9 of the Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals ice-cold superstar quarterback Joe Burrow will not play in the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl game because of injury.

He has been ruled out of his debut Pro Bowl due to a niggling injury, which got exacerbated in the Conference Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. In what was a nerve-racking and super close game, Burrow didn't have as much joy as he'd have liked, and his team suffered as a result.

Due to his not-so-stellar play a few days ago and his niggling injury, Burrow has elected to skip the trip to Las Vegas. You can be sure he will come into next season with a vengeance; in a way, only smoking Joe Burrow knows how to.

How did Joe Burrow perform this season?

Joe Burrow had a magnificent third season in the NFL, with the former first overall pick in the NFL draft showcasing that he has come of age.

Burrow changed the conception of what it meant to be cool in the National Football League, and he did that with the help of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Burrow carved out the league alongside his two all-star caliber receivers, leading the Cincinnati Bengals to a deep playoff run before they fell at the Conference Championship hurdle.

There's no need to say that Burrow will be back, as the former League Comeback Player of the year is known for his work ethic and bounce-back ability. He's probably hatching new schemes as he and the Bengals look to make another deep run next season.

The Louisiana State University alum put up a great stat line in the 2022 regular season. He posted a stat line of 4,475 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 16 games.

Joe Burrow's Fantasy Production for 2022

Joe Burrow was one of the best players at his position in the 2022 NFL regular season fantasy league. He stacked up an average of 21.70 for the season and did so on efficient splits. Yes, Burrow was helped by having two absolute studs at wide receiver in Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but that should not belittle his performances.

The third-year Pro was solid all season, finishing the year as the fourth-best QB in terms of NFL fantasy football points. The LSU Tigers legend is the present and future of the Cincinnati Bengals and is expected to be seen in numerous Pro Bowl games in the future.
