Kanye West recently found himself in the eye of a storm after making objectionable comments about the Jewish community on social media. The Grammy award winning-rapper has since been shut out by almost all major social media platforms and has lost hundreds of millions in canceled endorsement deals.

Now in a damage control mood, West has come out in public and tried to make amends. But his attempts at trying to appease the black community about his comments on police brutality victim George Floyd seem to have backfired. Comparing his scenario to Floyd being choked has certainly not gone down well with many. Among them is NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.

In a tweet lashing out at West, Sharpe expressed his disgust at the rapper's take:

"You have no idea how George Floyd felt. You lost money he lost his life. One can be replaced one can not. W/o Kayne losing what he lost. He’s not apologizing to “HIS” ppl. Move it along buddy."

Sharpe had earlier backed the rapper and his sports agency Donda Sports to take ownership of the Denver Broncos franchise. This was before the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group completed the takeover. Donda Sports recently lost two valuable clients in Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald and NBA's Jaylen Brown following West's comments.

In a statement, Donald stated that he was parting ways with Donda due to the hateful and antisemitic comments made by the rapper:

"The recent comments and displays of hate and antisemitism are the exact opposite of how we choose to live our lives and raise our children."

Kanye West gets Antonio Brown's backing for Donda Sports

As Kanye West grapples with the prospect of losing millions more in the days to come, he can rest easy. He is, at least, safe in the knowledge that Donda Sports president Antonio Brown is going nowhere. Even with the whole world against him, the rapper seems to have found a faithful ally in the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star.

Brown's impassioned message in support of Kanye displays that he has no intention of relinquishing his role as president of Donda Sports. The former NFL player turned rapper even teased a potential collaboration with Kanye in the near future via a social media post.

Kanye and Brown certainly make for an interesting duo. Their larger-than-life personalities have often seen them find themselves in the thick of controversy. Whether you love them or hate them, they won't be ignored.
