Dynasty Fantasy Football leagues place an additional emphasis on a player's age due to the multi-year format. This creates new opportunities to sell players at the highest value and invest in those who are on the way up, and the best way to do so is through the trade market. Here are five examples of buys and sells from the NFC East division ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

#1 - Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels is arguably the most attractive rookie quarterback to target ahead of the 2024 Dynasty Fantasy Football season. His dynamic dual-threat skill set is highly desirable across all fantasy formats, giving him significantly more upside than most other quarterbacks. He will be expensive in the trade market but has the potential to be one of the best overall fantasy players at his position.
#2 - Jake Ferguson
Ferguson enjoyed a breakout season in his first year as the starting tight end for the Dallas Cowboys. He finished the year as the overall TE8 and exceeded 100 targets. Dak Prescott has always utilized his tight ends in the passing game, with Dalton Schultz previously being an elite fantasy option, so Ferguson is a solid buy this year.
#3 - Devin Singletary
Singletary has finished among the top 25 running backs in Fantasy Football in each of his five seasons so far. He has done so with two different teams and is now joining his third, where he is expected to be the running back for the New York Giants. He will replace Saquon Barkley with a potentially massive workload, so his usage makes him a solid trade target.
#4 - Daniel Jones
Jones is a relatively cheap quarterback to target in the trade market for Dynasty Fantasy Football leagues. While his overall career has been disappointing, he finished as the overall QB9 in his first season with coach Brian Daboll. He also finally has a potentially elite wide receiver for the first time in Malik Nabers and is still just 27 years old.
#5 - Ben Sinnott
Sinnott is listed as the third tight end on the Washington Commanders' depth chart, but the rookie could quickly earn a larger role. He recorded an impressive 44-yard reception in his first preseason game, demonstrating that he can make big plays. Even if his workload remains light this year, he is still extremely valuable in Dynasty formats, as he could be a long-term starter.
Dynasty Fantasy Football NFC East sells
#1 - DeVonta Smith
Smith has finished among the top 30 fantasy football wide receivers in all three of his seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he saw some regression last year, finishing as WR20 after a WR10 finish in his previous campaign. With the return of Dallas Goedert and the addition of Saquon Barkley, he could see even fewer targets, making him an ideal sell candidate.
#2 - Zach Ertz
Ertz has been a Fantasy Football superstar during his NFL career, finishing among the top 12 players in his position in seven of his 11 seasons. His strong history gives him some value in the trade market, but his long-term outlook with the Commanders makes him a sell in Dynasty leagues, especially with rookie Ben Sinnott likely set to eclipse him on their depth chart eventually.
#3 - Jalen Hurts
Hurts has been one of the best overall fantasy quarterbacks over the past three years, finishing as the QB2, QB3 and QB9, with a total of 38 rushing touchdowns. His incredibly high value could command a major haul in Dynasty formats through a trade. It may be time to cash in on his elite output, as his rushing touchdown totals may regress after the Eagles made a bold move to acquire Saquon Barkley.
#4 - Terry McLaurin
McLaurin has been consistently solid in his five seasons, finishing as WR32 or better in fantasy football for all five. While the addition of Jayden Daniels gives him some additional upside, the Commanders' new-look offense also lowers his floor. Daniels is expected to run often, and the team also added dual-threat back Austin Ekeler this year.
#5 - Ezekiel Elliott
Elliott returned to the Dallas Cowboys this year after one season with the New England Patriots. While he is expected to serve as their featured back this year, he doesn't appear to be in their long-term plans. He signed just a one-year contract with the team, so savvy Dynasty managers may want to sell him now before he loses more of his fantasy football value.
