The Green Bay Packers won the first two Super Bowls ever contested. The team was coached by the late Vince Lombardi, whose name now adorns the league championship trophy.

The Packers are considered the first-ever dynasty to have graced the NFL. This is primarily due to their back-to-back Super Bowl wins at the league's inception.

The first two Super Bowls were commonly known as the "AFL–NFL World Championship Game." However, they were also casually referred to as "the Super Bowl game" during the television broadcast.

Green Bay beat the AFL champions Kansas City Chiefs 35-10 in the first-ever Super Bowl game. The matchup was played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on January 15, 1967.

The Packers repeated their Super Bowl success the following year. This time, they beat the Oakland Raiders by a score of 33-14 in Miami. It was also the final game of Lombardi's head coaching career at Green Bay.

Bryan 'Bart' Starr was the starting quarterback for the Packers in their initial two Super Bowl triumphs. He also led the team to three consecutive league championships (1965-67).
