Tom Brady is fully embracing the retired life following his retirement from the NFL after 23 seasons.

The future Pro Football Hall of Famer went on vacation with some former teammates, including tight end Rob Gronkowski. Many fans were happy to see the duo back together again, especially Patriots fans. The quarterback-tight end pair played nine seasons together in New England.

However, that didn't stop fans from noticing one of the vacation photos that Brady posted on Twitter in which Gronkowski's backside was in open view. Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the photos, including one with the tight end.

Fans noticed that the vacation photos give off a vibe of the Tom Cruise movie "Top Gun":

Besides Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, there was another former New England Patriots great in attendance on vacation. Wide receiver Julian Edelman was seen hanging out with his former teammates soaking up the sun.

Edelman played nine seasons with Gronkowski and 11 with Brady.

The trio won three Super Bowls together in their time together with the Patriots. However, the date on which the three-time NFL MVP posted these photos may not be coincidental.

When did Tom Brady post the vacation photos to Twitter?

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback uploaded these pictures to social media on March 28th. This is seen as a throwback to when the Atlanta Falcons had a 28 - 3 lead in Super Bowl 51 versus the Patriots. The Falcons were up by that score with around eight minutes left in the third quarter.

However, Atlanta didn't score another point for the entirety of the game after that as the Patriots won 34 - 28 in overtime. Tom Brady threw for 466 yards and two touchdowns, while Edelman had five receptions for 87 yards. It remains the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.

While Patriots fans love seeing the proverbial gang back together, Falcons fans may not as much.
