Ranking the best wide receivers under six feet tall in 2022 NFL season ft. Tyreek Hill

Cleveland Browns v Miami Dolphins
Tyreek Hill is one of the best NFL wideouts under six feet.

As the saying goes, size doesn't matter and for NFL receivers like Tyreek Hill, they use their diminutive size to their advantage. Because of their low center of gravity, their cutbacks and the power with which they run make them difficult to stop.

There are a number of wideouts in the league who are making a successful career out of being the agile speedsters on their respective offenses.

With so many superstar receivers currently doing their thing in the NFL, it can be a tough task to rank them, but here we go.

#5 - Tyler Lockett (5'10) - Seattle Seahawks

Since entering the league in 2015, Lockett was Russell Wilson's go-to guy down the field in Seattle. The star receiver is nearly impossible to catch when at full throttle. Throughout the 2022 season, Lockett's numbers have made for good reading.

In his 10 games, Lockett has caught 54 passes for 640 yards and five touchdowns. With seven games to go, he is on track to better all his stats from last season, which saw him top the 1,000-yard mark.

#4 - Diontae Johnson (5'10) - Pittsburgh Steelers

Johnson's numbers are not as good as his previous season as the Steelers' offensive struggles have seen him barely touch the ball at times.

His 456 yards on 51 catches don't make for good reading, but the talent is there. Last season saw Johnson catch 107 passes for 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns. With the quarterback position being under transition, Johnson has suffered. But his talent is undeniable.

#3 - Jaylen Waddle (5'10) - Miami Dolphins

Part of the Miami Dolphins' explosive offense, Waddle is on track to have his first two seasons in the NFL be 1,000+ yard seasons. Across 10 games, Waddle has caught 51 passes for 878 yards and six touchdowns.

His talent is scary and is being unlocked with Tyreek Hill's addition. With the Dolphins currently on a four-game winning streak, Waddle has filled his boots and looks to be even better as the games go by.

#2 - Deebo Samuel (5'11) - San Francisco 49ers

With the top two on this list, there is going to be a lot of debate simply because it is more of a personal choice. But given that Samuel is used just as much as a running back as he is a receiver, he comes in at number two and his performance against the Arizona Cardinals was vintage Samuel.

Samuel has amassed 468 receiving yards on 41 catches and has two touchdowns this season. He has also rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns. When in open space, there isn't a defender in the NFL who isn't terrified of what Samuel can do.

#1 Tyreek Hill (5'10) - Miami Dolphins

With it being his first year in Miami, many people thought he would struggle. However, Hill is on track to obliterate his career-highs in receiving yards and catches with seven games still to play.

Without a doubt, the best receiver in the NFL under six feet tall is Tyreek Hill.
