The reality of Aaron Rodgers leaving the Green Bay Packers and joining the New York Jets doesn’t seem to be very far off. Latest reports suggest that the Super Bowl XLV champ met with the Jets on Monday.
Rodgers recently completed his darkness retreat and has been making some noise. He went on the "Aubrey Marcus Podcast" to discuss his time away and future plans in the NFL.
An interesting point he brought up during the podcast was about his mentor, Brett Favre’s decision to join the Jets. He also didn’t shy away from mentioning on the podcast that he’s ready to have direct conversations with the Packers.
"I'm open to all honest and direct conversations. If they (Green Bay) feel like it's in the best interest of the team, so be it. That wouldn't offend me. It wouldn't make me feel like a victim. I wouldn't have any animosity toward the team."

The Packers have been tired of Aaron Rodgers in the past few years, although they have given him a huge $150 million extension. Rodgers and the Packers did not have a good run in the 2022 NFL season. They were kicked out of playoff contention by the Detroit Lions in the final Week 18 game.
