The Denver Broncos brought an end to the Sean Payton sweepstakes by hiring him as their new head coach. Payton was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints for 15 seasons before stepping down before the start of the season.
Payton spent the majority of his time away from the field as a FOX analyst, providing viewers with unique insights into the game.
The Broncos coach was recently asked about his pick for Super Bowl LVII. He was specifically asked to choose between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The 59-year-old gave a humorous reason for his pick.

Another reason why Sean Payton likely chose the Eagles to win Super Bowl LVII is because that is where his NFL coaching career started. He was the Eagles quarterback coach for two seasons (1997-1998) under then-head coach Ray Rhodes. Mahomes has never lost to the Denver Broncos in his NFL career, going 11- 0 while throwing for 2,959 yards, 18 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Sean Payton's task will be to end that streak and take the Broncos to the playoffs.
