D. J. Moore was dominant in his first season as a Chicago Bear in 2023. As Justin Fields' favorite passing target, he posted career highs in receptions (96), receiving yards (1,364) and receiving touchdowns (eight) - numbers that would have made him a borderline Pro Bowler had the team made the playoffs.
However, in 2024, the story has been different. Fields was ditched in favor of Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze joined via trade and the draft respectively, while Shane Waldron became the offensive coordinator. Still, expectations were high.
And then Williams revealed a litany of flaws in his play, like an alarming turnover problem. The result has been a brutal slump for Moore, who has had just a single hundred-yard game so far and appears nowhere close to replicating his prior form.

So, as the Bears look to end a post-bye three-game slump against the Green Bay Packers, should he be removed from one's fantasy roster?

D. J. Moore Week 11 fantasy outlook: Should I drop him?

The Bears' primary WR corps has been easily entrtenched in the midpack of Sportskeeda's fantasy football rankings. At WR39, D. J. Moore sits between WR37 rookie Rome Odunze and WR45 veteran Keenan Allen and has scored 99.6 fantasy points.
That total looks impressive at first sight until one realizes that he hasn't hit double-figures since Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, which also happens to be the last time the Bears won a game.
However, that's not the only bad notion Moore has had to face. The Packers' defense is 11th when matched up against wideouts, allowing only 29.71 points. And they have some strong pieces in their secondary who could shut him down.
All-Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander has been hounded by injuries in the 2024 season, but he's easily one of the best pass defenders in the league when healthy.
Meanwhile, Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine have been stellar in filling in for him, while safeties Xavier McKinney and Javon Bullard provide an extra layer of protection that could serve as a deterrent against deep runs.
Overall, one shouldn't place too much trust in D. J. Moore, who's a fairly easy choice to drop in Week 11.
