Tom Brady took over two decades to earn his title as the NFL GOAT. However, even before his retirement, the QB was ruling the league. With multiple Super Bowl wins under his belt, fans were interested in Brady's game, along with every aspect of his life.

Considering the fitness standards one has to maintain as a professional athlete, Tom Brady's diet and workout routines have often been discussed. In fact, TB12's $50 nuts pack released in 2016 sold out instantly.

The items promoted health and were a way for Brady's followers to experience a possible taste of his diet. After all, it's not easy to follow an NFL player's diet. Not only can fans eat healthily, but they could also eat like their favorite quarterback.

As per reports, Brady's official store launched the snack on a Monday, which then sold out in just two days. The 12-count box cost $50, containing everything from raw, vegan, and organic to gluten and dairy-free nuts/fruits. Interestingly, this was released during the infamous Deflategate scandal.

Apart from Brady's snacks, the former New England Patriots icon also sold a $200 cookbook. Despite the relatively high price, Brady still managed to sell out the book. According to the now-45-year-old star, it was a 'nutrition manual' for people, containing 89 seasonal recipes.


What is Tom Brady's diet?

Back in 2017, Brady released 'The TB12 Method', a book through which one can use his 12 principles for the best performance. Brady spoke about food guidelines, but also water intake and the best type of water at that.

According to Healthline. Brady's diet was mostly plant-based, also focusing on whole foods. One should also eat more local produce, complete with more hydration and monitored portion sizes.

Food and items to avoid:

  • Non-organic grass-fed dairy
  • Refined carbohydrates
  • Trans and saturated fats
  • Added sugars
  • Salt
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • GMOs
  • Cooking oils, like canola and soy
  • High fructose corn syrup
  • Other soy-containing foods

His diet also gave some advice, one of which depended on not eating for three hours before going to bed. Even when to stop mattered. For better digestion, Brady's diet suggests eating only 75% food, which will later help in the 'absorption of nutrients'.
