Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins spoke about what he would do if he met Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin when the teams meet in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs in Buffalo.

The last time the Bengals and Bills faced off was in Week 17 in Cincinnati. In the first quarter of that game, Hamlin ran into Higgins after a play. When Hamlin got up, he collapsed back onto the field.

The Bills safety suffered a cardiac arrest and was given medical attention, including CPR by Bills trainer Denny Kellington.

"I'm pretty sure we just gonna chop it up, laugh and giggles," Higgins said. "Just gonna be happy to see him."

Damar Hamlin was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after being taken off the field in an ambulance. He was later allowed to travel back to Buffalo hospitals before being discharged to recover at home. The safety was originally going to attend Buffalo's wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins.

However, he decided to stay home as he continues his recovery. Bills coach Sean McDermott said that Hamlin is back at the team's facility on a regular basis.

While there was obvious worry about Hamlin's physical health over the past few weeks, Higgins' mental health was also a concern.

Many fans were also concerned about the mental health of Tee Higgins following the Week 17 incident. Soon after Hamlin was taken to the medical center in Cincinnati, Higgins spoke of the difficulties he was facing.

"Obviously, it’s been hard just because I had something to do with it," Higgins said. "Everybody’s been making me feel whole again, and I talked to his mom and everything’s OK – he’s doing good, so I’m in a good place right now."

While the game is significant for both the Bengals and Bills, Tee Higgins meeting Hamlin will be even more significant.
