The Texans have ruled out M.J. Stewart (knee) for Sunday's game. The safety did not participate in any practice sessions in the week building up to the game.
Houston will also be without tight end Dalton Keene (knee). He was placed on the injured reserve in August and is expected to miss the entire 2024 season.

The Bears placed offensive lineman Ryan Bates (shoulder/elbow) on the injured reserve list on Saturday. Bates will not feature against the Texans in Week 2 and is expected to miss a few weeks due to injury.
Chicago has also ruled out fullback Khari Blasingame (hand/knee) for Sunday's matchup against the Texans. Blasingame was a limited participant in training on Wednesday but did not participate in practice on Thursday and Friday.
