"These fans will NEVER keep me away": When Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany had to be moved to 'safe' place after Patriots fans' harassment

Brittany Mahomes has been a constant source of support to Patrick Mahomes over the years. She was there with him in college and at NFL stadiums during games. But sometimes, the situation can get hostile when fans get overly passionate.

An unfortunate incident occurred in 2019 when the Kansas City Chiefs played the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Back then, Brittany was Matthews, and Tom Brady was still a member of the Patriots.

When the Chiefs were leading the Super Bowl 2018 runners-up 23-16, fans directed their anger towards Brittany.

However, the match swayed into the Chiefs' favor and Brittany took the opportunity to get back at the Patriots fans. She took to IG and posted:

"I'm here & these fans will NEVER keep me away #chiefskingdom"

Earlier, she explained via another post what she heard from fans:

"As soon as we sit down, drunk dude 'Hey everyone this is Patrick Mahomes' girl and brother, let's give them s--t.'" She further claimed, "I was told if I stand they will call security and kick us out, can't stand for your team?"

As she admitted, security arrived and escorted her and Patrick's brother, Jackson, to a safer location. Security had reviewed the camera footage and was willing to assist the Mahomes family members. Brittany cited this to illustrate the severity of the situation for her and Jackson.

Interestingly, she also challenged the Patriots fans to run her away while claiming it to be the Chiefs' kingdom. Ironically, it was the last successful year for the Patriots while the Chiefs were strengthening toward their record Championship run.

Jackson draws a comparison between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes

On the other hand, Patrick’s brother Jackson had this to say on X, then known as Twitter:

“Patriots fans are rude as hell!!”

He further posted about the comparison between the two mega stars the fans were rooting for; Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.

“All patriots fans ‘we still have 6 Super Bowls’ Lololol Once patrick has been in the league as long as Brady, then chat to me about Super Bowls! Patrick is 24, brady is 42? you just wait????”

Though Jackson was frustrated when he made the comparison, in hindsight, he was right. The two greatest QBs of the NFL clashed when one was at the dawn while the other was at the dusk of his career. Although now, Mahomes stands very close with four Super Bowls at just 27.
