Tua Tagovailoa is in one of the best QB spots in the NFL today, with the former Alabama Crimson Tide having an assortment of offensive options. How many NFL quarterbacks today can boast of throwing to two elite-level receivers?
That's right, possibly only Tagovailoa, and the list of accomplishments don't stop there. The Miami Dolphins offense is built around his strengths as a QB, and his few weaknesses are so expertly hidden that credit must go to the coaching staff.
That's why analysts have scoffed at the Dolphins' 8-6 record, as it looks and feels so much like underachieving. Of course, most of the blame will be on the shoulders of Tua Tagovailoa, and the third-year QB will have his back against the wall trying to remedy it.

Tagovailoa has no lingering or preexisting injuries, at least none we know about. The dynamic pocket threat QB will look to end his side's three-game losing streak when they come up against Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers.

This will be a contest between two quarterbacks at different stages of their careers, but there will be a lot to prove. Tagovailoa is playing in the Dolphins' week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers, and he will be out for vengeance.
Tua Tagovailoa's Fantasy Outlook
Tua Tagovailoa started the season as one of the NFL's best, if not the best, fantasy quarterbacks.
He was throwing touchdown passes after touchdown passes and making excellent reads, leading the Dolphins to the promised land. However, since that concussion protocol debacle, Tagovailoa has not been the same. He's still throwing well and hardly getting picked up from, but there's something slightly off about his style of play since weeks 4 and 5. His Christmas game against the Green Bay Packers could dispel all doubters, which may be the impetus the Dolphins need.
Last time out against the Buffalo Bills, Tagovailoa made great use of his league-shattering weapons by delivering accurate passes on the fly and letting their pace do the rest. Sadly, the young quarterback has had a tipsy turvy the last four weeks. He might have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but they can only do something if he's consistent. Next in Week 16 is a Christmas Day clash against the Green Bay Packers.
How is Tua Tagovailoa performing this season?
Tua Tagovailoa is having the best statistical season of his young NFL career, and the scary part is that he could be better.
He was one of the most notable snubs for the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl, and the general public reaction to his snub shows just how special he has been. Tahovailoa loves this new Miami offense, and his performances on the gridiron showcase a young QB with the world at his feet.
This season, the Alabama Crimson Tide alum is putting up a stat line of 3,238 passing yards, 24 touchdowns and five interceptions in 12 games.
