Tom Brady is in his first year of broadcasting. The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback is the lead NFL broadcaster for Fox and will call games throughout the 2024 NFL season.
Ahead of Week 10, let's take a look at the game that the future Hall of Famer will be calling.
Which game is Tom Brady calling in Week 10?
Tom Brady will call the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup on Sunday. Brady will be returning to Raymond James Stadium, a venue that will remember him for bringing Super Bowl LV to Tampa Bay.
Brady will be joined by Kevin Burkhardt (in the booth), Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi (from the sidelines). The game starts at 1 p.m. ET.
How are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers performing this season?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a tough 2024 season. The Bucs enter Week 10 with a 4-5 record and are ranked second in the NFC South. They're fresh off three consecutive defeats, with the losses coming against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7, the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8 and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.
To make matters worse, the Buccaneers will be without star wide receiver Chris Godwin for the rest of the season while franchise legend Mike Evans remains out with a hamstring issue. The Bucs will have their work cut out against the 49ers, but they need to win to go into their bye week with a .500 record.
The San Francisco 49ers, too, aren't having the most ideal of seasons. They go into Sunday's game with a 4-4 record. Just like the Buccaneers, the 49ers have been ravaged by injuries. Notable injuries this season include those of Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk (for the rest of the season).
However, the 49ers will fancy their chances versus the Bucs. The team is likely welcoming superstar running back McCaffrey back to the fold, and he could find joy against a less-than-stellar Buccaneers rush defense.
