A social justice and youth advocate named Makiah Shipp is presently dating Blake Corum. Shipp also received recognition from the city of Detroit for her outstanding efforts at an early age.

Makiah Shipp was raised in Michigan and was born on August 21, 2002. Her family resides with her in Detroit. Shipp contributed to the Spectrum journal published by the Black Student Union. She oversaw the LEAD Advisory Board's communications. The current youth advocate is also a political analyst and aspiring writer. In 2024, she's expected to get a bachelor's degree in public policy analysis. Shipp will be the first member of her family to graduate from college.

Blake Corum and Shipp started dating each other in early 2022. Both have kept their relationships low-profile and are rarely seen together on their social media accounts.
