Jonathan Gannon, Arizona Cardinals' new head coach, is married to Gina Gannon. She is a national TV presenter, a self-described foodie and a host of live events. Her Instagram account's bio states that she was born and raised in "The City of Brotherly Love," Philadelphia.

While growing up, Gina was an avid television viewer and took on the role of host for the entertainment segments of the newscast at her elementary school. She found her passion at an early age and enrolled herself in a top-notch communications program at the renowned Temple University.

Gina worked as an intern at a local television station while completing her studies, gaining experience, which further stoked her interest in the industry.

She wears the name of Temple University with pride wherever she goes and has a bachelor's degree in communications. She began working as an "Action News" traffic reporter in 2016 after completing her education.

Gina has taken part in several projects while working for 6ABC. Live Facebook discussions, animal-focused segments, traffic updates and live events for various charities and fundraisers are a few of the ventures she has worked upon.

As of now, she gives traffic reports for the Delaware Valley on Action News every Friday between 4 and 5 pm. In addition, Gina leads a show called "Weekend Extra" that showcases regional companies and organizations.

Gina and Jonathan Gannon have been happily married since 2013 and share three beautiful children: Rocco, Lola and Angelo.

Most recently, before joining the Cardinals, Gannon was defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. During his time with the franchise, the team even reached a Super Bowl. Gannon served also served as an assistant coach for the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons.

He started his coaching career in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007 as a defensive quality control coach. The St. Louis Rams hired him as a college scout in 2009, and he was later promoted to a pro scout in 2010.

Gannon served with the Rams until the 2011 season and made his way to the Tennessee Titans as a defensive quality control coach. He was hired by the Minnesota Vikings in 2014 as their assistant defensive back and defensive quality control coach.

Jonathan Gannon left the Vikings in 2018, and Frank Reich brought him to the Indianapolis Colts, where he worked as a defensive back and cornerbacks coach until 2020.

In 2021, Jonathan Gannon became the defensive coordinator for Philadelphia. Gannon has completed two seasons with them. This season, Gannon led the Eagles to the Super Bowl LVII.

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a heartbreaking 38-35 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 Super Bowl.

The Eagles defense shone in the regular season but came to a halt when it mattered most in Sunday's game. Jonathan Gannon and the team's defense were under pressure in the last quarter, and the Chiefs took that to their advantage and stole the game in the last quarter.

The Eagles defense finished second in the NFL during the regular season, and the team did not allow over seven points in its playoff victories before Super Bowl 57. The defense recorded 78 sacks in total during the regular season and postseason, which ranks third in NFL history.
