It's hard to imagine that Odell Beckham Jr. will miss another straight season in 2023. The wide receiver spent the 2022 off-season recovering from his ACL injury. Despite his contract with Los Angeles Rams expired, he participated in the franchise's championship banner ceremony in September 2022.

Beckham Jr. missed the entire 2022 season as he was a free agent looking to join a new team.

It has now been over a year since his devastating ACL injury in the Super Bowl, and on the eve of April 1, he's still yet to sign with a team.

Why hasn't Beckham Jr. signed with a team yet?

He could still be recovering from his ACL injury and isn't 100% healthey yet. He's provided multiple updates on his recovery stating he feels healthier and and ready to take part on the field.

It was expected that OBJ would sign with the team towards the end of last season to pursue a Super Bowl ring, but he never joined a team due to his persistent injury.

Another reason why Beckham Jr. might not be signed to a team is because of the contract he is seeking. When free agency first started, it was reported that he was seeking a contract worth $20 million a year.

Teams were most likely turned off at his asking price that he made it go down to $15 million per year.

Not many teams will want to pay an aging receiver coming off of his second ACL injury that missed an entire career late into their career, $15-$20 million per season.

The answer is almost guaranteed to be yes. Regardless of his age and injury history, Beckham Jr. has interest from many teams.

He worked out in front of over 10 teams during a private workout in Arizona.

Odell Beckham Jr. didn't play last season because he physically couldn't. Now that he is over 13 months removed from his ACL injury, he should be back to 100% well before the season starts.

Beckham Jr. is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, and has recorded over five 1,000 yards receiving seasons.

The 30-year-old will likely join a Super Bowl contender and will be a good addition to any receiving group that he decides to join.
