The Buffalo Bills have a chance to clinch the AFC East division with a win against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday night. Heading into this week, the Bills needed two things to happen to win the division.

First, they needed the Miami Dolphins to lose to the Green Bay Packers on Thankgiving, which they did, on top of beating the 49ers and improving to 10-2.

If the Bills are victorious on Sunday night, they will be one of the first teams to clinch a playoff berth. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions can also clinch spots with victories plus some help this week.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants became the first team eliminated from playoff contention afer their 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
