Abhinav Mukund Biography

Abhinav Mukund is an Indian cricket player from Madras. He is a top order batsman, who plays bowling legbreak googly and left hand bat. He plays for major teams like Chennai Super Kings, India Under-19s and Tamil Nadu. Now, he is a part of the Chennai Super Kings for the IPL 5 season. Abhinav Mukund made his first debut in Colombo in 2007 between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. He made his Twenty20 debut at Chennai in 2008 and his highest score was 300 not out. He is the youngest player in the Indian team to tour Caribbean. He has clobbered 604 fours, 26 sixers, 16 hundreds and 13 fifties. He has also taken 41 catches. After four seasons of first-class cricket, Abhinav averaged 60, and was chosen to open for India after both Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir were injured before India's tour of the West Indies in 2011.
