Carson Beck: A Brief Biography

As of October 2025, Carson Beck is a quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes. He joined the team for the 2025 season. Beck was a part of the Georgia Bulldogs team that won back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.
The 2018 USA Today Florida Offensive Player of the Year award went to Beck. He ranked No. 248 nationwide, No. 9 among pro-style quarterback prospects, and a composite four-star prospect according to 247Sports.com. Beck was ranked as a four-star prospect by PrepStar Magazine, ranked third among quarterbacks, and ranked 100th overall.

Carson Beck’s college career started in 2020 with the Georgia Bulldogs. He moved to the Miami Hurricanes for the 2025 season.
Carson Beck's College Career:
In January 2020, Carson Beck enrolled at UGA after making his first collegiate appearance during the fourth quarter of the Missouri game. He participated in seven games during the 2022 season and completed 26 of 35 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns.
In 2023, Beck started every one of the Bulldogs' 14 games. In terms of passing yards (3,941) and completion percentage (.724), he was ranked third nationally and first in the SEC. In the season-opening victory over UT Martin, he started at quarterback for the first time.
Beck was a finalist for the Manning Award and started 13 games for the Bulldogs in the 2024 season. He was included among the Top 25 for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. His effort in the season opener against Clemson earned him the title of SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Carson Beck High School Career
Beck completed 136 of 278 passes for 1,843 yards and 20 touchdowns in his senior year. He ran for 167 yards and six touchdowns. He was dubbed "Mr. Football" in Florida after leading MHS to its first-ever state championship. Beck was selected to the 2018 MaxPreps Junior All-America Second Team after completing 209 of his 356 attempts for 3,546 throwing yards and 39 touchdowns.
He transferred to Mandarin after two seasons at Providence School, where he passed for 12 touchdowns and 994 yards as a sophomore for the Stallions.
